Established by the UN Charter in 1945 The Economic and Social Council(ECOSOC) is one of the six main organs of the United Nations,responsible for coordinating the economic and social fields of the organization.Its main purpose is to achieve sustainable development in a social,economic and environmental way.

Some of  ECOSOC's key issues can be listed as promoting and financing sustainable development,advancing policy integration and coordinating humanitarian action.

 

ECOSOC is a crucial factor for finding solutions to social,economic and cultural crises that especially arise in today's world. Participate in ECOSOC if you also want to speak up about these important issues.
